Amber Dane Dental therapist / hygienist

Amber qualified as a Dental Therapist in 1973 and went on to work as a tutor for the Dental School of Therapists. She later trained as a Hygienist and after qualifying, combined a teaching post in New Cross with a hands on post as a Hygienist in a general practice.

Resigning from teaching in 1979, Amber began her first permanent role in a private practice as a hygienist at The Oral Hygiene Centre in London.

A unique institute for dental hygiene, this was the first practice of its kind in its emphasis on oral hygiene. All patients were referred from practices which did not employ dental Hygienists. The clientele was extremely high profile, consisting of quite a few celebrity names which made the job fun and the environment great to develop in.

Following a long stint at The Oral Hygiene Centre, Amber relocated to Hever, where she worked in Edenbridge. The practice transferred to Lombarden Farm where Amber continues to make a great contribution as a dental hygienist.
